Sending

Click on MATERIAL under CENTER level in the tree
displayed.

Click on
LIST OF
SHIPMENTS.

Click on ADD in the right lower horizontal toolbar of
Material Shipment Management
window.

Fill in the necessary information:
- define where the shipment goes to Center, Study/Country or
Study
- enter a reference number and a sending date
- define if it is an 'Automatic Reception'

Click on SAVE in the right lower horizontal toolbar.

Click on
MATERIAL
SELECTION DETAILS at the right of the screen in the lower
part.

Click on ADD in the right horizontal toolbar of
Material Shipment Detail window.

Select the material which you are shipping and enter number of
items to send.

Click on SAVE and then on CLOSE.

To send the shipment, click on

SEND in the right
lower horizontal toolbar of the
Material
Shipment Management window. With this the field 'Sent'
is ticked. Note: once shipment has been sent it can't be edited
(this includes deleting).
- As soon as 'Sent' has been ticked the shipment will appear in
the
Shipment/Reception Details
window (button SHIPMT./RCPT.DETAILS) at study level.
- Additionally the shipment is populated automatically to the
Material Reception Management
window of the Center respectively study/country to which you
sent it.
Receiving

If no automatic reception, to have the number of the material
sent included in the number available in
Material Stock Management of the Center
respectively study/country to which you sent it, once you got
the confirmation that the material has been received:
- go to
Material Reception
Management of the Center respectively Study/Country or
Study (button
LIST OF
RECEPTIONS in
Material Stock
Management window)
- highlight the shipment and click on edit in the right lower
horizontal toolbar
- enter the receipt date and click on SAVE
Now the shipment will be also listed in the
Shipment/Reception Details window (button
SHIPMT./RCPT.DETAILS
in
Material Stock Management
window) of the Center Study/Country or Study to which you sent
it.
