Set Up Material Management

Highlighted the desired study in Selected Studies window.
Click on MATERIAL under STUDY level in the tree displayed.


Once all materials available have been added here, this window gives you an overview of the status of all study material.
To always have the most recent data available here, make sure that shipments already sent actually have status 'Sent' and the shipments you received have status 'Reception confirmed', i.e., always check Material Shipment Management (LIST OF SHIPMENTS) and Material Reception Management (LIST OF RECEPTIONS) for correctness.

Material Stock Management is used to track the available stock of materials such as Case Report Forms.
If you haven't defined any material under MATERIAL SET and then added it here, this screen is empty.
Each material can only be entered once in this screen.
The Material Stock Management is available on study, study/country and center level. If e.g., the stock is increased this will be changed also at study level. The shipments and receipts of material are recorded at the level from which the shipments were sent respectively where they were received.

Click on MATERIAL SET to define the material to track for this study.


The table below is for your information only. You are not going to need it at that stage of the study. You will find more detailed information in the chapters 'Track Materials' in Study in Progress at each level.



Options in Material Stock Management:

MATERIAL SET: to define material to track for the study.
LIST OF SHIPMENTS: to record material shipments.
LIST OF RECEPTIONS: to acknowledge reception of material returned from study/country or Center.
SHIPMT./RCPT.DETAILS: to view summary of shipments and receptions of study level. This is a view only screen.
